In the distance, The battle for the camps has begun to rage, as if it were a wild fire. It seemed just like it would never stop till everything, every inch of every bit of land was burned to a crisp.
And thus, our Hero's engage in battle. The thwack of blades and pelt of spells ringing through the small battle area. Though they were out numbered, the Party makes up with raw force!
The battle had ended, flames rising high from many tents. Few standed, a handful of troops remained of this section of the camp.
I'll fill out the rewards when I wake up, Please don't kill each other before then
Upon arriving at the entrance to the simulation room, you would find Ciel waiting at the door for all of you. She was in her typical Executor outfit. In her hands was an electronic pad that she was making adjustments to, double checking the program to make sure things ran correctly.
"Hello, hope your all ready for today simulation. I will be using these results to test and teach you. Do good enough and I will give you promotions. Oh and for those of you who may not know me, I am Ciel, Seventh Seat of the Burial Agency." said Ciel as she spoke in a semi-serious tone.
"Chris, Alex, its good to see you two again. Have you tested your new weapon out Chris?" said Ciel before she turned her attention to the person she hadn't met before.
"Well many members of the Church here train but have no one to promote them. As such, I have taken it among myself to do so. The training here will be educational. May I also ask for your name?"
With that Ciel would now face the entire group. "Today simulation we will be putting you three in charge of a dead apostle hunt. A dead apostle has infested a city and it is your job to kill them. When your ready, enter the simulation room and I will give you more details."
"Rusty, such a shame. The reason I promoted you was your ability to grow at an alarming rate." said Ciel in response to Alex comment. She would then give Chris an approving smile, glad to see that his weapon was working out well.
"A pleasure to meet you Mori. Let us just say even servants are not immune to being turned into dead apostles and as such no dead apostle should ever be underestimated. Now then, let us get started."
With that, Ciel would motion everyone to enter the simulation room. Once that was done, she herself would walk to the control panel that was outside the simulation room.
"This simulation will take place in a modern city. The city is being infested by a dead apostle. You know their are attacks in the docks, apartment district and manufacturing district but the school and market are free of attacks. Where do you want to go to investigate and at what time?"
"Until the entire town is infested and you are over run and yes that is a possibility and programmed in here. Though that is unlikely but the longer you take, the lower your score will be."
As you go up the stairs you would see a janitor now looking around, as if he had heard something.
(edited)The janitor would then spot the three of you, he would then point at the three of you.
"Hey, what are you hooligans doing here? I am calling the cops!" said the janitor as he would then reach for his cellphone.
Chris black key would hit the janitor shadow, the janitor would then be unable to move from his spot. "What in the world is going on. AHH! WHY CAN'T I MOVE! AHHH!"
"Your part of one those cults! Get back or I will call the police!" said the janitor in scared voice as he then raised his cellphone up and started to dial 911.
As you arrive to the apartment complex, you see a number of zombies coming at you. It is clear that they see you as a threat and will attempt to kill you.
Alex managed to cut his way mostly through a trio of zombies. Though while that was happening, a pair of ghouls armed with firearms would come out of cover and begin to open fire on Mori, attempting to gun him down.
As you enter one of the apartments you find some blood stains on the ground. It looks like it has been attempted to be cleaned up. The stains lead towards a closed room.
The trio would find an abombination of a ghoul. Some kind of experiment that had all sorts of extra limbs. The creature would roar at the group before charging at them.
As the group let their guard down, the abomination would get back up and attack the person who had killed it. It launched a fury of blows, while one missed, the other hit. This gave it the chance to bite at the newest Burial Agent recruit.
Though as it bite, it would then be impaled by Alex, causing it to release a scream before it fell to the ground, dead for real this time.
Aside from the one experiment of the abomination, not much else would be found expect several corpses that were hidden. These were people who failed to become zombies.
The rest of the apartment was clear. Their were some hidden dead bodies but otherwise their were not more abominations or any sorts of undead here.
The other apartment builds were pretty clear. In fact aside from a few broken in rooms, nothing looked out of place.
As Alex went by himself to the docks, he would spot several induvial. Some of them seemed armed. There were also a few zombies roaming around but they didn't seem to be attacking any of the people there.
About half way when they were short resting, several figures would arrive at the top of the building of the opposite end of the intersection. They were armed but their was also a man wearing a cape leading the group. They would raise their guns and get ready to fire at Chris and Alex while the figure started to cast some magecraft.
Archer.
She calls out to her servant, who had come with her. What is it Master?
Standing behind the Oni, is a lady in eastern looking armor as she stayed close to Aya. On her feet are a pair of magically enchanted boots instead of her usual sandals to protect her from the harsh winter of the singularity.Nothing. I am simply assuring that you are behind me...
She replies as she breathes into her hand as she looks at the other Masters and the other fierce looking servant with a small glance.Nothing. I am simply assuring that you are behind me...
She replies as she breathes into her hand as she looks at the other Masters and the other fierce looking servant with a small glance.
I see, though that's quite weird Master. Are you afraid of me going away?
The archer asked her master, slightly curious on the matter as she too would look around the vicinity.I do not like that question.
She states as she simply ignores the it.Then I won't pry further, forgive me.
Tomoe frowns for a moment as she apologized to her master, worried if she's being insensitive. Thus the group started their journey. It was peaceful until the bright sky got overshadowed by clouds and the chilling gust started crawling upon their skin. A snowstorm seemed to be approaching at rapid speed. In the mean time, the temperature started to lower down
Alex's perception kicked in just in time! He noticed some weirdly placed shacks not too far from here. It was strange was it but currently, there wasn't any other shelter around here
@StarryClericThe night that was passing uneventfully got disturbed by some stomping noise nearby the shacks. It was pit black so seeing without darkvision is near impossible but the noise sure alerted people. Suddenly, the group can see that there is some fire in the distance?
Jeanne didn't see anything more than glimpse of shadow and dimly lit flame in the distance. The noise kept going and going, not too loud nor too low
@ArbyOrNotToBeMaster, do you want me to investigate outside?
Noelle's owl didn't pick up anything suspicious but from its view. It can see that there is a small bonfire down below, the glimpses of shadows from above looked slightly bigger
No, remain still for now. Servants are weak to certain things, and as you've only been summoned, you are still weaker than most. Stay still for now. Let's wait for their report.
She says as she sees the owl.I shall abide to that then.
Staying still like her master told, Tomoe would instead keep a close eye on the shack surrounding instead, making sure none would slip past her eyes. From Aya's point of view, she would see that there was troll-like figures behind the cover. She couldn't make out them due to them still behind the rubbish but they seemed to be talking about something. ~~and they're drinking something~~
The group was observing the troll-like figures then two of them suddenly stood up. They walked toward the group's direction, they didn't walk directly to the shacks but to a location near it, about 10ft away from the shacks. One of the troll went deeper while one is standing guard
The troll got stabbed directly in its heart. It wasn't any supernatural being and despite its tough skin, it fell prone and managed to talk a few words
"Run-" The words were cut short but the other troll can still hear it
It suddenly shouted
"ENEMIES"
From the camp, 12 trolls took up their weapons and ran after the shout
Archer, you are an 'Archer' yes? Stay ranged until they get to you.
I'm indeed a Archer class servant. Please leave the ranged defense to me Master.
Tomoe nods at Aya remarks as flames begin to erup from the palm of her hand. There, the flames would shape itself into a large bow that's almost as tall as her with fire motif as the decorations. Creating arrows in her hand, she took aim at the approaching giant as Tomoe took a deep breath. One by one, corpses after corpses, each of the troll fell down despite their numbers and power. Congratulations, you just brutally murdered a friendly trolls group
From the bonfire, cows mooing can be heard by the group. There was 2 well-fed mountain cows on the camp, they were loosely tied to a stick so anyone can easily pull them up
"Cows? What are we going to do with them?"
She thought as she looks at the cows curiously and accidentally let out a telepathic message to Tomoe. The map the Alex found was riddled with many weird signs. Luckily, Alexandria Von Gunter with her big brain can somewhat decrypt it
All the weird signs on the map all pointed toward one location, on the map it was just snow but the trolls seemed to go there for some reasons. There was also a red "X" on the other side of the pointed location
The weather after the vengeful storm was rather peaceful. The chilling cold and the occasional gust of wind is still there but there wasn't any heavy snowstorm. From afar, the group can notice black smoke coming up to the sky. Strange wasn't it? Black smoke in this climate
@Game Ping 7It was far from the X but it was still in the general direction
Jeanne didn't sense any "draconic" from the flame. It wasn't coming from a dragon but her senses can definitely tell that it was supernatural flame, flame not from any mundane source but magical and it was fierce due to the mystery it radiates
@ArbyOrNotToBeAs the group continued to move forward, faint screams can be heard and each step closer to the smoke, the dense smell of burning flesh is starting to become more and more visible to the mundane noses
@Game Ping 7Varus, Alexander and Noelle can see beyond the smoke that there was a nightmarish horse exhaling its flame on the nearby village. It didn't notice them due to the wind blew all the smoke to give them cover. Jeanne on the other hand is stuck with the smoke. The thick smoke was crawling down their lungs so be prepared for some bad coughing
Noelle would sense that the beast was a type of fiend. Not from the Underworld but more of formed out of beliefs. It radiates violent mysteries the closer you got to it. It was still busying rampaging the houses
@Orphelia/Naomi/ArtoriaThe nightmare just vanquished, it died literally
The group travelled quite a gap before stopping to rest for the night
Current progress: 1/5 days
And thus, the sun arrived. It was just after everyone packed up that the chilling gust started to blow again. With a bit of fortunated luck, there was no sign of a snowstorm but the weather wasn't at its comfiest right now
1..... 2..... 3...... Connecting started
Hello, hello? Bob here, I heard that you need helps with tracking down the life signs. According to the tracker, if you guys keep pressing forward, you will reach the location. Though be warned that the life signs kept changing and changing so we couldn't gauge the exact numbers of the threats
@Orphelia/Naomi/Artoria (edited)The journey was uneventful. It was nothing more than some occasional large chilling gust or some 5 legged deers passed by. Soon the group would reach a road fork. The funny thing is, there is a caravan here. It's motionless and looks teared up. Someone or something did quite a mess with it
@Game Ping 7Noelle didn't find anything suspicious or too out of place besides the caravan. Everything that could or would get found was covered and buried under the heavy snowstorm
A snowstorm suddenly arrived. Its heavy ice rain and gusts that can push even a mammoth is no match for Varus's Grand level of Magecraft. The group rested while waiting for the storm to end
As the storm ended and the effect of Varus's Magecraft was starting to fade away. Remaining ice from the top of the Bounded Field fell down onto them after getting stacked on top of it for 24 hours
The group started their journey with the weather on their sides. The weather was peaceful and calm, the occasional gusts of chilling wind seemed to be less "occasional". During their time on the snow road, they found themselves upon a group of creatures. They were moving towards their location but it seemed like they haven't noticed them yet
@Game Ping 7The wolfs were strong but compared to the might of Chaldean. They were nothing than mere nuisances
The journey forward was uneventful as usual. There was no more than some gusts or 6 legged deers. Thus evening has arrived, the bright Sun from the morning is slowly drifting down the endless void of snow
Current progress: 2/5 days
The group was resting comfortably in their shelter. The sky was going easy with the snow and the wind was calm. It was just another uneventful night if not for the sudden arrived of a snowstorm. Strange wasn't it? A snowstorm suddenly arrived without any warning. From the blizzard, something went through the frost cover and hit the Bounded Field (Piloting, Varus casted his usual shelter spell) directly in the center. The Bounded Field still held up but the projectile sure gave out quite a punch
@Game Ping 7Thus morning has came. The chilling wind and frostbite seemed to go away and left behind the soft snow with the refreshing wind of a new day. Since the group annihilated the Spirit of Ice, the overall weather will be better until a new one manifests
@Game Ping 7On their journey, the surrounding areas got clearer. The things which they couldn't see before due to the snowstorm are now more visible. It was peaceful yet so odd.......
The snow, it was odd. It was just looking like snow but it...... Wasn't? This snow, it was snow but it also wasn't snow, it was more than that. Alex couldn't sense it but it couldn't only be snow. It was far more than just some snow on a mountain
Arcana check
@StarryClericThis snow, this snow, this snow this snow this snow. It wasn't snow, it was crystallized blood! It was crystallized blood and from Alex's POV, his surrounding areas were crystallized blood that looked like snow. The snow, upon focusing on it he sensed that it was brown but magic covered it up. Someone...... Something did this, something did this for unknown reasons but it couldn't be a human act
@StarryClericNoelle, like Alex you also sensed that the snow was magical. Upon further inspection, you also knew that the snow was here for at least 2 days. It was just getting weirder when you sensed...... Life? There was life in between the snow, due to the density of mana, you couldn't pinpoint the location
@Orphelia/Naomi/ArtoriaVarus, with his alchemy and conduction. He sensed that there was a sign of magical life near him. Not too far away, it was just 15ft away from him. The blood which he used to experiment suddenly flinched, it then shattered into small pieces
@Tyonis ShikiThey went to the life source without any problems. The snow was covered up it so from outside view it was just another pile of snow. The sign seemed to be buried under a thick sheet of snow
Varus's excellent hand works with the thick furry snow managed to plow it up. Under the snow, there was...... A wisp? It was asleep, it was just sleeping under the snow while not knowing that there was 4 people on top of it. As Varus kept digging, it tweaked a bit before staying still again
1...... 2..... 3......
Connecting started
"Hello, this is Dave here. From your location, it was near the cave entrance. The life sign you found was a part of the life signs we detected. Its frequency matched it perfectly"
"You should use it to get a clear map to the entrance. It should know the location and if it doesn't then you're free to use it for *other* purpose"
The wisp slowly but surely opened its eyes when its sleep got disturbed by a snowball. Unfamiliar with the shining light, it dragged some snow on it to block the view
"Guarhhahr"
Translation if you know Sylvan: "Who's there?"
The wisp suddenly jumped up from the pile of snow before landing near Varus. It hostilely spoke to Varus
"Who dared disturb me from my sleep! Who are you?" It spoke at them while being cautious, the wound it got earlier still hasn't healedThe wisp was surprised by her inhuman speed and it was caught off guard. Her firm hands choked it then suddenly its head popped off like a bottle cap. No human could survive after that but at last, it wasn't a human. Its body vanquished into snow but from its head, a new body grew out
In a vain attempt to survive, it turned into snow and dashed away
As the group chased the Wisp, despite the restrain from its snow. Jeanne and her Dragon managed to catch up to it and struck its fragile body down
It looked at them in despair
"Please no, I will tell you anything you want" It looked and trembled at them, it was vanquishing away so it couldn't even maintain its form without snow
@Game Ping 7"About the area? It was, it was with human. There wasn't anything wrong but the human seemed funny so I play with them"
"Ahead of you? There is a snowstorm, it's from the Ice Lord but it turns down yesterday. I don't know anything more about the event ahead of you!" It seethed and malded in front of Alex and Jeanne
As Jeanne was squeezing it, it was scared beyond what a human can comprehend. It wasn't the Ice Lord, it couldn't get reformed and rebirth by nature due to it being just a minor wisp. It will die, it will wither, it will end, it will vanquished. It can't get reincarnated like a human, a new wisp will be born but that won't be it
It was at its death door, it went through hell 7 times over before death finally came. It....... Accepted it. The body went to poof as the soul vanquished, all the remaining of it suddenly went up to the sky in a vain attempt to rematerlize but sadly, there was only the bland sky
The group continued moving forward, the weather was peaceful enough so they didn't have to run into any problems. Hours after hours, they went pass the valley of snow to be greeted by a flat field. It was already evening, the area was dark with only some lonesome stars on the sky
@Game Ping 7Alex, you saw that around you there wasn't anything too suspicious. It was in fact dead calm, even the owls wouldn't fly and the wolfs wouldn't howl. You only noticed the flat areas around with the occasional gusts. Strange wasn't it
@StarryClericVarus with his majestic Grand Magecraft easily set up multiple Bounded Fields to secure the areas. Barriers after barriers, he successfully and undisturbedly created a safe zone for the group to rest overnight. No threats can and will penetrate this shelter for the night
Morning came, when the few first light of the sun shone down on the areas and the thick layered of snow started falling apart near the Bounded Field
@Game Ping 7Alex, with your excellent perception, you easily noticed that a mile away, there was a cave entrance. It looked blurry but Alex definitely knew that it was real. Ahead of you, there was 2 people? From their clothes they could be soldiers or just merchants. They were slowly approaching the group
@StarryClericAfter some minutes, the soldiers arrived at the shelter. They looked at it in amusement yet scared. One of them spoke to Alex in a frightened manner
"Please, please help us. We can't stand another night outside" He said while trembling
"We...... We are soldiers. Ahead of you...... There, there was a monster. We fought them with all we had but it destroyed our group. Men after men, they all got killed. We're lucky enough to escape" He said with some tears on his eyes
"NO! That's suicide, your threat is unimaginable. It wiped out a group of trained soldiers without taking any wound and we...... We can't continue anymore with this conditions, we're so tired from walking through the night. We need to rest" The man said while breathing heavily, the walk in the night drained every ounce of energy he got
(edited)"We can lead you to the monster...... But we need some rests, our bodies went through hell after we had to walk for the night. So please, I begged you, let us rest and we will lead you to it"
"I, we what? If that's the case, the monster is in the cave ahead of you guys. It will take 1 hour of walking to get there but there won't be any obstacle on the way" The soldier said before held his friend and moved pass the group
(edited)
"Two?"
Scathach grits her teeth and materializes Gae Bolg.
"That would be..."
"I can handle her," Scathach says.
"But if she fights in this condition..."
"Ufufu.."
"Have you found new friends, Scathach?"
Medb looks over the group in front of her.
"To be fighting alongside this many warriors.. your older self would be proud."
"Let's go, Alter Ego. Let's kill them."
Orders?
She asks bluntly.Seeing Tyonis' Servant begin to fade into light, Scathach's eyes widen. "No..."
"Kch..."
Scathach grits her teeth. She was worried this might happen.
"At this point, I..."
She won't be able to save her after all.
'Master, your orders?'
@Thicc|Fie/Ali/Ayu/Miyu/Nag/Mel"Kch..." Scathach grits her teeth. She was worried this might happen. "At this point, I..." She won't be able to save her after all. 'Master, your orders?'
@Thicc|Fie/Ali/Ayu/Miyu/Nag/Mel
'Stop whatever your Friend is trying to do, if it goes off we'll most likely lose more then just Hime.'
'I don't know how to. I don't know how to help her anymore.'
@Thicc|Fie/Ali/Ayu/Miyu/Nag/Mel'I don't know how to. I don't know how to help her anymore.'
@Thicc|Fie/Ali/Ayu/Miyu/Nag/Mel
'Defeat her in combat, she's most likely not going to listen to reason so we'll put her in a position to where we can force a contract on to her. That's the only way I can see you saving her at this point. You might not like fighting against her but it's the only chance you have at saving her now, don't let this chance slip through your fingers.'
Bird is going my way, Master. I've successfully baited her. I think I ised the word right.
'I'm sorry... We couldn't save her...'
With that last message to Scathach she falls unconscious.Medb keeps burning through her spirit core, using her Noble Phantasm beyond it's limits and destroying everything around her.
Finally, her body gives in.
"Ah..."
Realizing she's long crossed her limit, she starts to feel hazy.
When Tyonis reaches for her head, her eyes find his.
"Majesty..?"
There's one thing she still doesn't understand.
His fingers reach into her head and rip her head off, sending it falling towards Aden as it disappears.
'Thanks...'
"...."
Scathach wordlessly engages Vidofnir.
Scathach watches the Alter Ego fade.
". . ."
She readies her weapon to continue fighting the giants until the territory is cleared.
Scathach turns to see Tyonis stab himself with his own weapon.
"Wait, what are you-"
But he doesn't die.
"Stay strong."
Scathach looks at him not with pity, but with resolve.
"You have more worth fighting for, do you not?"
"So stay strong."
"Right now, them."
She points her spear at the giants coming their way and the unconscious Masters.
'thank you Scathach, sorry for being so weak.'
She sighed annoyed at her performance during this battle, but improvement would come in time hopefully, she was working hard.
Ah how Cliché~ a dark sky overhead with the unknown before us.
Mozart said to his Master via their Bond
“I shall assume we should being moving then?”Hm, must be Fate then…for the one who is embroiled with conflict and for the other who dislikes conflict, a foreboding scene is set.
Sly smile ever present, the man would rest his left hand on the katana sheathed at his left side. “Set forth we shall.””Something seems to be where I’m at, I shall investigate into this sound and find out if it’s but a simple animal of the woods or legitimate danger, stand by for more information~”
”Nothing of note, just e animal most probably, thie, … and here I wished I could have gutted something”
”I’ll be on the lookout for it, although a little storm wouldn’t hinder us to much right?”
her smirk is audible even thought the digital speaker”Do you truly wish to rest in an open area able to be attacked or surprised from anywhere?”
(edited)”Wise choice of words, … little master. You even convinced me to rethink this bold approach, forgiveness I beckon for, and I’ll try to control this thirst of blood I have. Should I keep looking around myself? Or come back to meet the entourage?”
the Oni says simply with a hum and a click of her tongue”My~ and I thought words didn’t move me anymore, compliment received. But I’d be on the look out myself in your stead. After all in all you are speaking with a ruthless race who enjoys suffering, … be it from enemies, or allies~”
words are hard to reach someone as her but she will oblige with the wants of her masters, she’s no fool, the darkening horizon is but an omen to what’s to come. Whichever be, the reason, she doesn’t like the idea of this cloud break
the invisibility would have dropped by the time she reached her team, of course. It’s not gonna last forever, falling from the tree as she hits the ground, raising dust in the place where she landed, assassin would come reunite with the team with a smile as her eyes are closed “Glad to be back together””Company dear masters, I suggest you pick yourselves up”
using the earpiece to blare out to wake them up
"Hello everyone! What a colorful group we have here today!"
Da Vinci appears through a projected image from their communications device and greets everyone as cheerful as ever.
"It's me, the beautiful genius (and youthful) Da Vinci-chan. You all know what I want you to do, right? Well, it doesn't hurt to repeat myself."
Before anyone can answer her, she continues on.
"We've already found some new resources in this Singularity and I'd just like you to look for more. Any kind of monster or magical plant or something, just bring me something nice!"
Chaldea sure are filled with all kind of people, not that I mind.
Suddenly walking in by herself, Furukawa begin look around the unfamiliar forest as she tries to find anything that catches her eyes;Be it neat looking plants, or perhaps some monster she never seen before.Though they seemed to be fighting each other, so they do act like real boars. Perhaps waiting till one of them are exhausted are a better plan.
Keeping her patience, she continues to observe the situation as she followed behind the boars from. The boars keep running their bodies against a tree trunk, trying to ram it down. It's not really clear why they're acting that way.
Well we are eventually going to attack it anyway, plus they seemed rather focused. I guess I could watch until they-
Tachibana steps on a branch and both boars turn towards him, their eyes filling with rage.
Touko burns through parts of the boar's resilient hide while Hana cuts deep into its skin and Tachibana shoots magical bullet holes into it.
Tiamat... your beasts... they are tainted...
The king was quite disturbed by such a display of monstrosity, why and how could this have happened? Is this truly a work of nature's course simply adapting to the dangerous creatures, wars, and magic around them? It is a simple case of wonder for the king, maybe he should have drank that long living potion before
Well? Any of you? Got anything for those beasts?
He chuckled looking at the massive wave that is about to comeHey Kama! do you think beasts would fancy you?
His eyes rolled, he changed his gaze at the other servant beside him, smirking as if challenging the Goddess of love to charm the beasts*Sigh* Such tomfoolery
I would even go as far to say that she is being more useful then your pair of wonderful lumps
He was amazed at the magic the youngins can do these days. A wonderful magic indeed it was fire yet it slashed and did not burn what a spectacular sight. Well on the other hand though maybe all that talent has left the girl to be flat... quite the opposite of her servant huh?MELAMMU DINGIR
Suddenly a ray of magical elektrons similar to an orbital cannon would shine over the battlefield, a blue spark enroaching the earth with its shine, purging the dirty monsterous beast that are laying their spawns near the Sicambri Tribe. His head turned to look at the Kama, and her Vajra he smirks
[heh], he thought
Not long after, the door would open revealing a young woman with black hair.
"Oh, Ms. Candra! Are you here to checkout my father?"
The woman look a bit unsure but let the door open more to let you all in.
Walking towards a room, you could smell something, like a fish being let out in the air. Candra walk toward the room and enter it, revealing an old man with sickly green skin. When you got near, you could see some part of his skin has some scales, not unlike a fish or a snake. On his leg where his toe is, you could see a thin skin between the toe.
"It's gotten worse... The smell start around this evening...." Ayunda who follows you speak.
"Please... I don't want to see my father goes to the sea..." Ayunda beg to Candra as she gold her hand with wavering voice.
Just as she did that, the skin start to become healthier, but the transformation still stay.
Ayunda would say her thanks while accompany you outside.
Gilgamesh would reach the wall of fog before he could fly toward his destination.

(edited)The books is in aksara, meaning if you know it then you could read it.
(edited)She would tell you that it explains on how one need to use magical energy to guide spirits to help them. It is mostly by using spiritual energy within themself to create a mystery.
The group of servants would be sent to this specific spot of the city, somewhere the the south area, where they would be sent to meet the team in which they would be assisting in. These are said to be mages, who held no Servants of their own due to their unfortunate ranks. Despite that, even before Chaldea has arrived, these two individuals has dwelved into the forest multiple times.
There by the gate two ladies, one with sharp maroon hair, cut cleanly. At her back, she carried what seems to be a weapon of some sort, but it could be co fused for a map holder or a holder of something else. She wore a long black cloak, and a suit beneath it. On her opposite side, leaning on the wall, one with an almost opposite color to the first girl, she carried a bright light blue hair, and while the first lady had her hair cut, this one had it beautifully fallen down.
Despite both of their unique beauty, their posture and aura are extremely professional, and soon they'd see the servants coming along which caused the both of the to jerk in discomfort.
"They sent us Servants... I guess they should have good enough firepower but still..."
The blue haired girl almost sounded annoyed as she complained about the amount of servants. She scratched her head.
The maroon haired girl would scratched her cheeks.
"Well, as long as we aren't in for more than a week, none of them will be gone. So I guess it's fine.
We are Enforcers. I am Bazett Fraga McRemitz. This is Forte. We will be surveying the southern areas just up north of Amiens for supplies and other possible resources, magical and non-magical. I assume you've been told to assist us, yes? "
She asks formally and acted professionally.
"We don't have an issue. And it's not about what you are but it is an issue of efficiency. Summoned creatures cannot stay within the forest for more than 6 days or they will be completely obliterated by the forests entropy."
The blue haired girl replied to the Assassin Servant.
" I am Forte."
She naturally flipped her hair and turrned around to face the exit ignoring Blackbeard as if uninterested.
"I suppose that, before such time-limit reaches, you heroic spirits must return back, with the supplies and resources."
She replies to Peggy.
(edited)"Then, for that, we will be counting on you."
Bazett stated and was simply weirded at by both Peggy and Blackbeards attempt at interaction...
"Well, then. I assume you are ready?"
"A small commune just up North of Amiens."
Forte replied. And as Cu was going to attempt to place some Runes of Bazett, Bazett took a step back and raised her hands.
"No need, Cu Chullain. I'm already prepared with my defenses. Save your Runes."
"As stated already. Resources and Supplies. Please keep that in mind. Just travelling from the city to the edge of the forest will last for 10 hours. We will rest for a bit, before continuing on. After that, there will not be a single rest. Understood? "
Forte would say say as she crosses her arms and smiled as if she was excited.
"90 Km forward, there will be no enemies. The bounded field has been increased up to that point, but within the forest, expect everything to attack you without mercy. Including twigs and branches. Some ghouls once in a while but they should be easy enough to deal with. Flying to the sky is a bad idea, due to other circumstances. And so, we can only travel by foot. Any other questions, if not, we should go."
"You ask the most bothersome questions, Archer. Why do you ask?"
She clicked her tongue at the annoying servant. And looked st Assassin.
"The forest is ever present and will see you no matter where you hide. We'd prefer you to stick close for the most of the journey."
"No, that is a bad idea. It will only make us slower than we already are. Don't expect to properly see landmarks there either. It's a forest that has engulfed the entire European Continent. Stick close and don't get lost. I do not know who you are Heroic Spirit, but this is no longer a 'Human Threat'. You're old knowledge won't help here anymore."
She says with a sigh. As she began walking forward, as if she was tired of entertaining their questions.
"That's enough."
Then she began to dash towards the forest. Bazett on the otherhand sighed and fixed her gloves.
"Let's go. Don't be left behind. If you want to choose not to come, feel free to not follow along."
She would then follow as she said kindly.
(edited)The entire group would arrive in front of the forest, and after resting a bit are about to enter. Staring at the massive engulfing forest which is constantly attempting to break the bounded field, the mission will soon begin.
Forte, the beautiful blue haired Wind Magus then looked at Chaldea.
"There's no time. We need to move before Full Moon. Now is the best time ever. We will first attempt to move 20 miles ahead and see how we'll do. Just stick together and don't get lost. I doubt the forest has ranged attacks anyways, so as long as you can fned yourself in close range, you will be fine. Now ready your preparations and lets go in."
It seems everyone got through the first stage. Both Madters seemed to be quite fine, patching themselves out. You guys have reached a small commune, but it doesn't seem like the place the two enforcers are looking for as they were talking.
"How far away still?" Forte asked.
"20 more miles. If we go any deeper than this, the attacks would be a lot more fiercer. We haven't been in this commune either. We should collect what we can, and either go home or head forward."
Forte grabs her chin and asks.
"Servants. Do you intend to push forward? If not you can collect whatever you can bring in this commune, any resources, water and food, and go back and bring them into the city."
(edited)The two ladies were not free of damage though. Their clothes were protected by magecraft, but they have couple of cuts around them, which the clothed slowly stew to hide them.
"Experience." Forte prouldy say
(edited)"Magical resources. Necessary to powering up the Bounded Field. Some Magic Crests too, but those are just some extras."
Forte was the one explaining. And as they spoke, trees began to move all around.
"We have less than 40 minutes. Make your decision."
Bazett says.
"Hmmm? So far we have been attack by trees and nothing else master."
Lucius replied"Don't give orders. We're moving."
Forte replied as they began to move and lead the Servants group again. Moving forward.
The two simply ignored Francis. They spoke to each other as they moved.
"It got weaker." Forte would say.
"Yes. It seems to be less ferocious than before. We need to keep going. Perhaps we can last for more than a week or two, what do you think? "
Bazett would ask.
"Yes. That's quite a relatively true assumption. Nevertheless, the summoned servants needs to return before a week past."
Forte stated. And Bazett would nod.
"10 miles more."
Bazett would tell all the Servants following behind them.
@Game Ping 7The group arrives at a lonely commune. The same as many places before it, its completely engulfed by the massive forest. It was a lot bigger than the one they had been before though, but not big enough to be called a town. Forte and Bazett looked around, befoee at each ither. They nodded their heads and Bazett then talked to the servants.
"We're here. Collect as much food, water, and necessities you van."
She'd tell the entire group. Forte on the othehand, bgan heading to the most beautiful house in town.
"Hmn. One of us will priortize searching and one more for gathering, the rest will have to assist me keeping the branches from preventing the search. Who will volunteer as which?"
"Can you even see in the dark?"
Bazett would ask Blackbeard as he volunteered to search in the darkness.
As the group has chosen who will loot and who will search, they immediately move, and then the Crimson Moon began to shine above them. As if the forest gave way just to show ithe beautiful mark on the sky. But as it did, an ash-like snow began to flow from the sky, before slowly getting stronger like a blizzard. Bazett groaned as she covered her body at the sudden storm-like thing. The area was now lightly obscured and dark. Additionally, it seems that the ash wa sgetting stronger by the minute.
And that is when the Defending Servants would feel "then". Shadow Servants began to po out of the forest, their designation and class unknown but they surround the small commune.
Finally, they'd also feel another Servant, much stronger than the shadows around them. Cu feels something odd about this Servant.
Bazett would seem to have noticed them too.
"The Berserkers of Enniash!"
She'd reveal what they were!
Bazett would look at Mochizuki.
"There is no time for questions. Get to searching. Leave this to us. Make it quick though. Maybe around 10 minutes or so."
The blizzard decreases the visibility entirely, although it was a bit closer. The servants can sense the Shadow Servants, but none of them could see where they are coming until they exit the blizzard.
The crimson red mood gathered the darkness and light onto one spot, in the middle of it all, the Enforcer and Heroic Spirits will recieve a battle unknown before. Bazett fixed her gloves, before she tilted her head towards Cu's words as if confused. But as much as she'd want to question what he meant, they'd hear the forest cry...
As he does this, and the entire part of the chapel fell, collapsing resulting in the Berserkers fall back to the ground. But the Berserker did not seem to find. And that was when the entire Servants in the area would feel a heavy presence. A destructive aura began to appear by the north side, where this SH6 Berserker came from. Taking away all the blizzard, the surge of non-Human magical energy began to form. But before any of them could react, it was released. Thorny Red Charged Magical Energy, dissipitationg all the blizzard that it stood on.
There, Blackbeard, Mochimozi and Francis would see his true nature. Even Cu would realize the source of this power, noticing its effects. A far more powerful version of his strike.
There stand a black and red Berserker.

He'd say.
"That's none of your business now, Archer."
He'd say as he straightened himself and revealed the spear he threw back in his arms with a smile. Completely different than himself, the blue one, he'd chuckle. Noticing the death of the other Shadow Servants, he'd say.
"Well, that's boring. Didn't expect the Shadows to die so easily."
(edited)"It's quite unfortunate. Heroic Spirits of Human Origin are quite unfortunate in this cursed forest. Luckily, my Noble Phantasm is not of Human Origin."
He'd reply with another chuckle.
"I don't really care about you and your petty reasons. Just stop bothering the forest and it'll leave you be."
"I already said this before, I don't care. Whether you die from this forest, or whether you get out of here. I'm here to tell you annoying fools again, there is nothing for you to search here. Actually no, it's better for you all to stay here much longer. How about a week or two? "
He'd say with a chuckle.
"This is the first time we've encountered a talking servant. Most are just broken and screaming."
She'd say as she ready her gloves for anything.
'I bid you for your blessing in this time of need. If not for the good of mine, then for these around me. The situation is dire, the forest hungers ever more. It's agent swarm against us, endlessly coming at us without a sign of stopping.
Hate me if you must. I have long come to accept that the weight of my sins will not be washed off with time. However, make sure that those without this burden make it trough alive.'
By the time she had finished the prayer, she felt herself lifted up into the air-- It was... A ship? The Berserker looked at the ship and clicked his tongue.
"A ship, 5 servants, and 2 Magus of high-caliber. That doesn't bode well for me, especially as I've just used my Noble Phantasm as a welcome shot. I will be leaving your life to the hands of the forest. For now. The next time we meet in this forest, I will be killing every single one of you. "
He'd say, with no more chuckle and only a tight hold to his spear as he turned around and let the blizzard slowly surround him. He began to leave.
As Mochizuki say so, a simply wall broke from one of the houses, revealing the blue haired girl, all scratched up, carrying some sort of material.
"I have it. Let's go."
Forte spoke. Bazett then nodded her head before she looks at the servants.
" Did you get the supplies?"
"That's how it works here."
Bazett says with a short sigh.
"Stop it Archer. That is fine and understandble, Asassin. No, we have to go, that Servant is most likely gathering reinforcements. Rider, is your sheep capable of housing all of us?"
(edited)"Then stay in the forest."
Forte would reply to Francis as her and the other enforcer would then began to ride the ship.
(edited)"For three hours for the ship, maybe."
Forte would reply to Rider as she stumbled and fell down by the side of the deck as she took a soft breath as if she just fought the hardest battle in her life.
Forte looked at Assassin, as she sighed. "I appreciate your kindness, Assassin. But pain is necessary to keep me awake. Although your poisons should be well suited for anesthetics for future endeavors."
She says as she sighs.
"But I haven't lost a limb yet. And no thank you, Archer."
She says as stretches her arms. and stands up once again and patted the Assassins head.
Bazett listened to Francis's report.
"I see. It isn't like we are the only ones hunting within the forest. Last I heard another Magus and a Head of Family from the Demon Organization within, but nothing too sure."
(edited)"It was japanese.... but they were all Japanese. I'm not well informed of these things and its not really my job to know."
Forte answered as she let Assassin do as they wish. But she began to straighten up, rejecting their suggestion to their rest.
"We should take cover. The forest isnt kind to flying ships made of magical energy."
The blizzard was getting stronger too by the way. There was almost 0 visibility outside.
Oh Dear Flora, are there now two of them?
Lucius thought to himself
The Chaldeans were gathered in front of the Magus's hold, which is a 'simple' mansion. Simple, as in, it was big and beautiful, although there is a magical barrier surrounding it. It couldn't be called a bounded field, as the entire city and the entire land around Calais is underneath it, as it would become redundant. Here, you'd be met with the closest aid of Barthomeloi Lorelei, her cousin, who was too bore the name Barthomeloi. She was Azrael, a famed hunter in the world of the Mystics.
"Just three of you? And a single servant. You seem to be overestimating yourselves, Chaldeans."
Those were the words that greeted them. With this Master, a Heroic Spirit of great power could be felt behind them, in spirit form. She crossed her arms and waited for Chaldeans response to her words.
"I didn't exactly ask for your names, as they don't matter to me. Mind your manners now, I'll direct you to Lady Barthomeloi."
The woman said, as she strikingly, turned around and led them into the mansion, as she spoke something, lessening the magic barrier for a moment as they enter it.
You'd enter the mansion and Miyamoto Musashi, would feel an extremely powerful pressure from within. Obviously, as she was the only one who could sense it, it was from a Servant. A servant that was far more powerful than a regular one. And as they continue to be led forward, they'd soon reach a large lounge, and there sat a woman, with her legs crossed, sitting on the sofa with elegantly, a wine. She had brown hair, that was perfectly combed, and her clothes were too perfectly straightened out that it was already eerie. Despite that, this woman had tremendous presence. Although for Musashi, that presence was overshadowed by the powerful behind the, in Spirit Form.
The guide knelt in from of the Master.
"Lady Barthomeloi, these are the volunteers to meet with the Church in Ghent for the search."
Then Barthomeloi Lorelei looked at the Chaldeans.
"Is that the case?"
She'd ask.
"Hey, Master, there's a real Strong Servant behind her."
She might as well report this through their mental link. She asks once more, now even more firmer.
"Are you deaf? I am asking if that is the case?"
She'd say as if insulted.
"Yup."
Musashi remained Silent, after all. She was a Servant, She's sure Barthomeloi wouldn't want her to speak."Chaldea. Marisbury has surprisingly reached another level of Magecraft after winning that war. Nevertheless, those his daughter sent me are both blind and small. Do they dare mock me?"
Se asks once more.
"Hmph. Very well. I won't be the one to suffer from your incompetence. There are three points in this mission, so I will get straight for each of them."
She stated as she held the wine glass to her retainer whom would take.
"You will first travel to Ghent to meet with a priest I had encountered back in Germany. They are hold up in the city, with a major part of it filled with undead but it's center has been filled with a bounded field. There, he will accompany you to Germany. I need you to find me a Mystic Code from the family Izerbach. I do not know if they're dead or have been turned into the Dead but it matters not. The Mystic Code is necessary for the next step of clearing out the forest."
She'd continue.
"The second point is the plantation of specific Magic Items that acts as an alarm for us. The ritual should be a basic enough for lowly mages like you lot would understand. This will alert us if the core of Enniash is within the circumference. You will plant 5 of these on areas mapped out, which will be given to you later."
And to the third.
"For the third point, if you happen to meet any [Dead Apostles], prioritize dusting them. That is all. Go."
She'd say as she'd wave them away.
The group would reach the edge of the forest after a day of travelling. Of course, they didn't need to waste enough food, so their rations were still more or less fine. The travel inwards to the forest would soon begin. Any preparations?
After that grueling journey, after being ambushed by branches, ghouls and the dead, you reach Ghent after 6 hours, a bit too far from your planned timed frame. You all will notice that the city is still filled with the Dead and is still controlled by the dominion of the forest. The directions of the Barthomeloi is that there is a haven of safety in the middle of the city, which you can quickly get to if you went quickly.
And as the group did, they make their way to the bounded field, crashing against those in the way, hopping buildings, hovering against them, whatever the option they have. And as they travelled, Ba'al, as you carry Naomi while moving at a specific speed that you can observe the surroundings, you'd notice silhouettes over a distance underneath the blood red moon, almost as if relaxing in the forest. Although as you are rushing, you cannot seem to make out what or who they were.
After half an hour of rushing, you'd reach the Bounded Field, created by a different method than in Calais. You attempt to enter but... You were still denied of entry, as if you guys were unauthorized individuals attempting to intrude.
You all wondered what else to do, and waited for people to make another move, a reaction from the forest, or anything in particular. Soon enough, you'd all notice the movements of branches, the ones thats filled with thorns that pierces you and delivered quite a scratch on both the Masters, and the Servants. As if hungry, they began to reach out to the group, to disembowel you. Sounds of the Dead could be heard as well, getting closer and closer as the forest has noticed the intruders. But before any combat could ever happen, a voice called out.
"You guys don't seem like bad guys to me. Oiiii, are you guys alright?"
Upon an inspection, despite the darkness, his appearance was quite clear. A man of spanish origin appearing in between his late 20s to his early 30s. He has a striking figure and wavy black hair reaching his shoulders. Wearing an distinct eyepatch, hiding his right eye. He wore a priest's cassock and a clear cross dangling from his neck and a long black top coat.
He flashed a smile to Chaldea.
"Seems like it finally noticed you hanging around there, come on in."
The man, who was looking like a priest, then invited the Masters carefreely.
"Me? I'm just a Priest. Kind of." He'd say with a chuckle as he would wave to Chaldeans to follow him as the Bounded Field seemed to open up a bit for them. "Save the introductions while we walk."
"Soo, Lore-chan sent you here. You must be the Chaldeans I've heard about."
He spoke carefreely as he led you inside. This part of the city seemed to have been affected before, but now it had been cleared out without regards. Plently of damages could be seen from the buildings.
"Sorry for the shabby city. Took a lot to retake this area. Around a day or two. Man that was tiring."
"Hmn? No, not really. I just actually met her recently when she passed by a few months passed."
He replied to Naomi's question and laughed at Nagato's enthusiasm and Musashi's words.
"Ahahahaha indeed. That is fine. Although, we'll be dealing with a bunch of pansies in the area before we go to Germany, so let's have you guys get some rest first."
"Hmnn. From what I've heard... They're a family that procures Modern Curses. Oh, before we'll go to Germany, I'll need you to help me killing some bad guys here. They aren't that strong but they should provide some challenge."
He'd say."
"You're getting the order around. First you guys can rest, then we'll get to hunting."
He'd chuckle.
"Now follow along, walking is so tiring. I'll bring you to a local church were there are less people and you guys can rest there."
He'd say as he continued leading them.
"No objections?"
The priest soon brought you all to a local, rundown Chapel, where all of you took a short rest. There, the priest sat down, fiddling with his phone as he waited for all of you to finish resting, and until all of you are once more ready to go. Furthermore, he wasn't alone. With him, there seems to be four 'sisters' in the same chapel, being seen once in a while, coming and going in and out of the Chapel, checking on the priest.
"Hmn? Ready for what?"
Still looking at his phone, he'd respond to the individuals curiously. His eyes never leaving his phone.
"Huh?" His eyes still at the phone, he'd respond as if confused, before one of the four sisters, approached him, the one with the circular mark on her head, smacks him at his skull.
"Father Cervantes. Your guests are waiting for you to make a move on the two annoying Dead Apostles within the City."
"OW! Ohhh! Right. Thank you."
He'd say as he gave his phone to her and stood up stretching his arms.
"Alright then. Shall we?"
"Alright. There's one to the east, one to the west. Pick which you want to deal with, and uh... I'll deal with the other. It's a good think they hate each other."
Father Cervantes stated with a soft chuckle as he stretches once more again, groaning.
"Uh. They're strong. For the most part, they aren't at the level where two Heroic Spirits would be unable to defeat, but at the same time, they should give you all a hard time. The one to the east is a woman, and likes keeping pets. So don't get caught take away. I don't have to say this but if you die from their bite, you'll turn into one of their servants. On the otherhand, the one of the west just wants to kill and eat. I think they're pretty new and was just born from the Forest itself. Yeah, although, they use Magecraft as well, albiet pretty limited."
He'd began talking.
"Silence? Ohhh. I do. Wait, you guys don't have anything?"
He'd ask.
"Well, I mean. I guess you guys are stupider than I though!"
He'd say this, before bursting out laughing.
"Ahahahahahahahahhaahhaha."
"Not really. You're probably just very lucky and did not meet any Dead Apostles along the way. Such madness."
He'd say as he crossed his arms with a sigh.
"Couldn't you have asked Lore-chan some before you left?"
"Lore-chan doesn't care about those things you fool. She cares about results. And at the end of it, you probably wont get any results for coming out here with nothing. But that's none of my business."
He'd say. Before chuckling and laughing again. Even louder this time.
"Ahahhahahahahah, you guys are so funny."
He'd ask Nagato.
"Hmnn. Alone?"
"No. I was asking if you were alone."
He'd chuckle at Nagato before looking at Musashi.
"That might work against the woman at the east, but to the west, its part of the forest, so I wont dare with it."
"Eh... Then weren't you guys just underprepared... In any case, its still your choice. East, or West. You don't have to worry about the final blow. I'll take care of it.:
"Is this your final decision?"
He looked at the Chaldeans with an expression of exciteness, but a clear professional aura could be felt in his words. He is waiting for each individual answer.
"Alright. I'll send someone to support from far away, but you guys will have to deal with her yourselves."
He'd take out some sort of compass and extended his hand towards the gang.
"This will take you to them."
He'd chuckle as he began to leave the chapel waving his hand to Chaldea.
"No. Call me dad-"
He was about to respond to Naomi before getting a slap on the head by the same sister, who was following him.
"Ughr. That hurted. Anyways, we'll meet here within... 6 hours or so I guess. Cya."
Now, you move to the east from the Chapel, following the compass's direction. As you walk, you'd pass by a nearby 'settlement' where survivors lived their lives almost a bit too normally, despite all the effects in the area. This settlement seemed to have been fixed, and these people didn't seem to have noticed you as you passed by. Finally, you'd reach once more the edge of the bounded field.
The gang moved forward, into the wilderness of the city once more, where the forest reaches all around in the area. The compass kept its sight to the East. Still to the east. And as you leave, the cries of the undead cried all over the place. Nevertheless, you rush forward to avoid unnecesssary combat. [Perception Checks.]
As you moved, the Compass began to slightly, continuing on guiding Chaldea.
Moving forward, each individual of the group would notice a silhoutte by the distance, watching over the entire group move to the east, which slowly drift further to the urban areas. Away from the silhoutte which was somewhere away. The darkness of the entire night prevented any of you get a proper look at it anyways.
It did not, because the compass was leading you further innto the urban areas, AWAY from the silhoutte.
Noticing the attention of the group shifting to it, the silhoutte began to move away, disappearing from the field of vision of the gang.
With the lightning sword illuminating the path forward, the gang once more moved forward. The compass made them turn to the left then to the right, but its direction remained certain. To the east. You head to the east. EVEN MORE to the east. Until, you are faced within the building which the compass was pointing too and as if shivering, fidgeted within the gadget. It seems the target is inside.
Musashi, stealthily you enter the building, searching for any danger within. As you do, the darkness was even clearer in this area, as the crimson red moon no longer helped you take a look, and you had to rely on the mystic code given by the Chelon Canticle Brigade. But as you searched a little deeper, you'd here a voice.
"A familiar? No... You're too powerful to be a familiar..."
She'd call out.
"A servant...."
She spoke out.
"Hah? Who cares about some measly Servants."
SHe'd say as Musashi would see a silhouette of a woman 60 feet away from her, sitting on a chair. Musashi by the way, you are 40 feet away from the exit.
"Though, if you were that bitch with the most powerful Servant in existence, then it'd be different. I'm busy making something, so go away."
"None of your business!"
She said as she got angry.
"Now shoo away or I'll corrupt your vessel."
You were let out by the DA, as if busy, she paid you no mind. You'd notice though the difference between inside and out. The inside is protected against the forest, while staying outside means a battle and a constant endeavor against the forest.
As you all take your time, waiting, or discussing, the entire forest began to move. Screeches everywhere could be heard. As if the forest was alerting everything within the area, that there is food, RIGHT here.
For half a minute, the entire tsunami completely ate out the building completely, flooding everything inside. A massive scream from a woman could be heard. No, it wasn't a scream, but a massive screech that cried out. The presence of moving water within it made the entire forest shudder as well, as same screeches from the Dead could be heard all around you.
Soon enough, the Magecraft dissipitated, and the building, although standing, is left with no glass windowns, and was very wet. Whether the Dead Apostle had died, or didn't was something left unconfirmed.
All of you enter the building with your weapons, carrying them with quite an agreeable passion and confidence. Down there, you'd notice a blonde haired woman, her hair straight, but wet from what you could assume the magecrafts effect. Proned there gasping for air, she looked at the Chaldeans who dared entered her domain, and attacking her.
"It's always you, you, you, pathetic excuses of Heroic Spirits forced into vessels under the whims of your fucking masters thats always getting in my fucking way.|
She'd stand up, with a malicious smile on her face, her eyes twitching in clear arrogance and anger.
"You think you dealth something against me hah?! You made a grave mistake making an enemy of me. I am Agrava Millenia. And I am one step in reaching the next step of my evolution... I WILL START IT OFF BY DRINKING ALL YOUR BLOOD AND TURNING EACH OF YOU INTO MY FUCKING PETS."
She took out what it would seem to be apple-like things that glowed in some sort of curse-like manner.
https://i.pinimg.com/564x/03/59/04/0359040c90f9253fa817b852d0bafb3f.jpg"I didn't ask for your fucking opinion!"
As Nagato spoke, she threw the apple towards them which then slowly blinked and blinked in the air, and only Nagato was able to react quick enough to dodge a massive portion of its blast, with his oni skin subtracting the damage, but it could not be said the same for the two swordwoman, whom were heat by a rotting fire.
"Take that!!!"
"You are completely correct. But all is different when all of you are dead. Hence I can be as mad as I want, and I can tell you that I didn't ask for your opinion whenever I want, because it won't stop me from doing the same thing."
She suddenly shifted from being mad and then suddenly began speaking in almost a more humane way.
"Furthermore, there is a way to stop you from talking and giving your opinion, which is so many ways I can count. But at first, I have to..."
Her presence then disapppears.
"It's not running, its called skirmisher!"
The Dead Apostle stated with a grin on her face as her claws elongated enough to reach Musashi without stepping next to them. She'd strike them with her claws that caused rupture and rotting despite the status of "Servant". She'd then move back once more, chuckling happily, away from Musashi's sight.
"Hah! Only the true weak speak as if there is a true way in battle. Strength is within each individuals skill. This is my skill. Only a fool would call an opponent they cannot defeat, 'weak'."
She'd say with a laugh she troubled herself against Musashi's swords skill.
"In the end, only the Servants are giving me any trouble."
SHe'd say, mockingly.
The Noble Phantasm stuck the Dead Apostle in half, leaving her half body standing with a surprised look on her face as her eyes widened. She did not die immediatelt, but it was clear, that Musashi struck down the very curse inside her body that was etched into her very soul. The sword style that struck down the unfortunate fate of ones soul, freed the woman from the Curse of Restoration, releasing a massive surge of necrotic to the surroundings.
There the Dead Apostle breathed.
"A Noble Phantasm that cuts down an undeniable curse of ultimate revival. Hahaha. Well, that's surprising... I didn't expect that... If it had been possible, you could've said so and had let me lived."
She'd chuckle softly as her body slowly crumbled towards Musashi. Her voice lacks the maliciousness before. Only softness and gratitude was left.
"Despite that... it is truly a freedom from an unfortunate fate. I apologize. You must know something, before I die. They're here. In the city. The Dark Lord... of Puppets..."
She'd say as she disappeared.
As all of you left the building, there was a sudden surge of destructive energy rumbled throughout the entire continent, shaking and shivering, the entire forest, including all individuals in the area could feel such magnitude. They could see a massive blue light appearing from the sky, far, far away. But the fact that it could be seen from this distance is a result of its absolute strength.
Ba'al, at this very moment would feel the presence of a pure Divine Spirit appearing for a moment, before disappearing once more.
"Chaldea."
A voice suddenly called out, after the aftershocks disspitated. It was a womans voice.
"Come with me. The Bounded Field has been compromised."
A stoic tone, from the woman who was wearing a blindfold, carrying some sort of item behind her back, perhaps an item.
"I am one of Hansa Cervantes subordinates. There is no time for distrust."
She says as she turns around and began heading to the base.
The woman led them back into the bounded field, it seems it was still up, although it was kind of in pieces. Before they entered, they'd meet up with the priest, who seemed to be slightly battered up, as if just coming out from the fight.
"Yo. You guys won your fight? It seems we got some other problem here though."
He'd say as he waved at them, and standing between them and the bounded field.
"How was it?"
The priest had asked his subordinate, whom responded.
"I was not needed for the final attack. They seemed to have dealt with it themselves."
She replied still stoicly, bowing her head, which the priest nodded with a smile and looked at Chaldea.
"Great job. Now, you guys have to go straight to Germany without me."
"Ahhh, yes, yes. I can't help with that. There's an annoying bastard here, taking control of the bounded field and the civilians inside."
He'd then extended his hand over to Naomi and the others of some potion-like items.
"These are some healing suplements. This will heal your wounds a bit."
He sighed.
"So, you will have to go without me. I'll lend you one of the Quartets."
(edited)"Ahhhh, sure. That's the bad guy here right now. He's a Successor of an Ancestor, although unofficial, since he really isn't recognized by said Ancestor. It's simply that he's at the highest of power amongst all of them and has the most potential."
He'd say as he took out his phone, fiddled with it for a moment, smiling, and putting it back.
"Alright. You guys go. I think it'll be helpful if you find some help along the way. You guys won't surive long without something to stop regeneration."
"Haha, you'll find it when you find it. I have to get going now. You gotta finish the mission now, or else Lore-chan will get angry. She couldn't careless bout your status as long as you produce some sort of result. Bronny, go with them. You should be familiar with Izerbach from Germany. They're kind of neighbors with the Eizberns."
He'd say as he turned around and waved, while ordering the Quartet who led you, to stay and accompany the gang. He began to head towards the bounded field.
"Understood."
She'd say.
(edited)The woman then turned around, and sighed.
"Let's go?"
She'd ask them.
"Successor. If it was an Ancestor, 'that' man would not survive."
She'd correct Naomi, as she nodded her head. That man seemed to imply to be the Priest.
As you all began to leave the city of Ghent, Hansa Cervantes, whose entered the bounded field would be met by the other three of his Quartet. He'd then inform them of the situation, but then he'd realize.
"Oh. Right. I remember now, B was the one that was slightly bad with directions and recognizing things, hahaha. Nah, they should be fine."
And so he heads onto his own battlefield.
(edited)As you all began to head towards Germany, there had been many pauses throughout the forest as your guide was seemingly hesitating a bit in her instructions. Perhaps due to the fact that you guys were new, and she was simply uncomfortable. After two hours of journey by feet forward, a certain event happened. A sudden ambush by 10 Berserker Class Servants and 20 Forest Ghouls caused the entire group to separate into two different ways. Due unfortunate luck, all of you are FORCED to be separated. With Naomi, Musashi and B, and Nagato and Baal, on two different ways, all being chased by the same ambushes.
"Longer than a walk in a park."
She'd say as she simply followed along them from behind.
"We've barely left the outskirts of Ghent."
"Maybe around 40 miles more."
Musashi, Naomi, and B, would soon reach the clearing. The clearing 'surrounded' a small house that was a good place to rest. As they entered, even the Berserkers and Ghouls strayed away from the area. The forests domain also did not reach here.
(Naomi, Perc Check with adv)The church member could only nod their head as Naomi stated this. She'd follow along
Naomi, followed by the others entered the house. It was a western house, with all its designs and furnitures, and it was quite tarnished as if the forest was inside before it was plucked away. In the middle of the sala, there was the incense, a high quality one that allowed it to last for days. It seems to have been going on for a while though, so how long it'd last from this point on is unknown.
The home itself is pretty silent. Other than the incense itself, the closest most intereting inside other than that is a note hanging behind the door. It seemed so conspicuous and didn't seem to belong there.
(edited)Musashi approached the note to take a look at it. To investigate it, to whatever she can see on it. As she read it, it seemed to have been written in broken in English. And the note wasn't written in paper, but on a white cloth.
It said,
'Don't West.
Ghostlines.
Too many.'
B would be looking at one of the portraits when Naomi asked her question. She'd then reply.
"Germany is to the East. We'll have to make do or we'll never reach it."
She'd say as a reply to them.
B would be looking at one of the portraits when Naomi asked her question. She'd then reply. "Germany is to the East. We'll have to make do or we'll never reach it." She'd say as a reply to them.
"There should be some safer routes, but in the end, we'll still need to head over to the East to find the Crest of the Izerbach."
She'd reply.
B was sitting by the corner, hugging her knees, she'd simply ignore the their conversation and their casual bonding. Her eyes are sealed by her blindfolds, so it could not be known if she's asleep or not either. Nevertheless, she's just there as they wait for the arrival of the servants and rest.
Ba'al and Nagato traversed the forest through thick and thin, and reached the place where Naomi and Musashi and B, were resting after 3 hours of their journey. The Forest was truly a tiring place. Ba'al would notice the same scars on the branches surrounding the area as they entered, and Nagato would smell that the presence of the inscense here was a bit stronger than the one before. Nevertheless, both of you arrived at safe place.
With your arrival, B was alerted and headed to meet you, before guiding you both inside.
As you all rest, the final piece of the inscense began to vanish. You now have 1 hour of safetly.
B would take a deep breath, and began to lead the formed group once more. They began to traverse the forest with clear and definite route in her mind, they'd rush forward as they spoke to one another. With great luck, of some sort, they'd escape many ghouls and Berserkers alike. Throughout the journey, she'd be incredibly restless as she led as if she was feeling itchy or hesitant, nevertheless, all of you continued forward.
After four hours of travel, the forest seemed to glow into the aftereffects of some sort of Authority. Nevertheless, it seemed the forest became some sort of weaker. But the forest wasn't the only one weaker. The Church Member, and Guide, B was panting heavily as she was filled wtih slashes and impalement from the forests barrage. But she had no plan in stopping it seemed. In truth, she will die if you guys moved any further.
"Rest where. In this forest?"
She'd quip to Nagato.
"I'll be fine. My sisters are dying, so I might as well achieve my mission of guiding you to Izerbach."
She'd touch her chest as her wounds slowly began to close. Although, this sacrament will only extend her life only a bit further.
B would look at Nagato with almost a look of disdain as she groaned.
"15 Miles more."
She'd say.
After their further travel. B suddenly took on a sudden stop, as she took notice of something. She'd see something from a distance, and stared at it despite being blindfolded. As she stopped the entire group stopped their movement. It was not safe yet, nevertheless, B stopped and stared at something.
"A bounded field."
She'd state as she point towards deep into a 'dead' natural forest, separate from the vampiric one that swallowed the entire continent. She continued to look further at it.
"A bounded field." She'd state as she point towards deep into a 'dead' natural forest, separate from the vampiric one that swallowed the entire continent. She continued to look further at it.
"No... I remember this. It's safe. Please follow me."
She'd say as she'd begin heading to the Bounded Field in which seems to be the only who could see it for now at this moment.
The dead forest continued on, as if it was winter, where life has been vanquished, but that is far from the truth. Winter was over, and it was supposed to be the beginning of spring. But the darkness as well as the vampiric control of the entire continent did not show such life that was supposed to bloom in the first place.
Soon, enough, they'd reach enough to sense the presence of the Bounded Field. B touched the Bounded Field, as if knocking, before she began to enter, continuing leading the group. This area seemed to be silent, with no vampires or Berserkers screaming in agony and anger. Almost zero presence of the evil forest as well.
Continuing on forward, the area, they could see the Rhine River, reflecting the blood red color of the moon nearby. The land was cold, and had snow, and the environmental effects of the forest resulted in a scene, a beautiful yet unnatural scene of red snow flowing from the sky reaching the ground into white.
Further inside, they'd find a medieval castle.
B would say.
"The Einzbern Castle."
The Church member began to head towards the entrance of the castle, ignoring the Servants and the Chaldeans words.
And with that, she knocked to the door through the metal.
The sound of knocking could be gently heard from the groups location. And there she'd wait for a response. After a few short minutes. It seems there was still none of it.
The door would be then opened from the inside, and there revealed an old man, with his white hair long enough to reach his waist. His face could be seen with wrinkles on it, and his expression seems filled with despise towards those in his front door right now. His eyes emit an astute light as he looked at the visitors. He had a long beard akin to a frozen waterfall, the same color as his hair, splitting into two directions.
As he appeared before them, he did not speak any welcoming words and remained silent, waiting for them to start the conversation themselves. In which B would be the one to initiate.
"Lord Einzbern. You seem to be doing well. With the entire European continent under the curse of death from the forest, that is. I am glad you are not Cursed yet."
B would say with respect, in which the old man looked onto her and to her companions. To whoever is knowledgeable to the Moon-Lit World, this man is known as the old-king magus of the Einzbern castle, and the Old Man Einzbern, one the most esteemed golem/homonculi maker in the world of the mystics. His eyes then reached the Servants, in which he sighed.
"The products of a failed system to recover the lost Magic, huh."
He'd quip, as he'd turn around, without closing the door.
"Come in. It will be cold outside soon. I do not know why you have come, Model II, but you are not the only visitor I have right now."
He'd go further inside, as if ignoring the presence of the Chaldean Masters. Given the permission, B looked at the Chaldeans and nodded her head as she led them inside to follow the old man.
As the group entered the castle, the interior is what one would expect in a castle, lacking in certain advanced technology, majority of the lights were crafted by magecraft. It didn't seem to have any electricity, especially as this castle was isolated from the entire world. They are also met with a massive staircase that leads to the second floor. The old man that seemed to owned the building had began to make his way there. Meanwhile, B watched him do so as she'd say to Chaldea.
"He should know the current situation about the Izerbach Family. If you have any questions about them, you should ask them now. He's... not uncooperative, so don't worry about incurring his wrath."
She'd say, talking as if she knew the old man personally.
The old man stopped in his tracks, and slowly turned his face towards the Chaldeans. He'd squint his eyes knowingly and in the middle of the staircase, he'd respond.
"They are nearby, on the opposite side of the mountain. Why?"
He'd ask as he answered. Despite his inquiry, his tone seemed to lack interest and simply asked for the sake of asking.
"Hmn. The Wizard Marshal. She did visit once as well."
He'd say as he turned around and began walking up the stairs as well, slowly but surely. As Naomi asked him of his name, he did not stop or turn around. Nor did he answer her question. Instead, he kept walking until he reached the next floor.
And on that question, he'd stop and turn his head.
"Yes. Do not touch anything, or attempt to steal anything. Model III, make sure they don't anything stupid. You may rest with the other visitor in the lounge room. Bring them there."
He'd say this as he began disappearing into the second floor.
Onto this question, B would nod her head and looked at Chaldea.
"You heard him."
"Please don't call me that."
She'd then bring them onto the lounge, and inside, it was without a rich mans lounge, with comfortable seats and beautiful sofa's. There was a fireplace in which one could relax on, and the room was enough for everyone to have a rest.
Although. There was one other person.
Wearing a majestic white kimono, an ethnic individual with the same origin as Naomi could be seen. Her long hair was mesmerizing and yet her eyes lacked light, as if she was purposely trying to avoid looking at the cup of tea she was drinking on directly. Upon Chaldea's arrival, her eyes would reach them. By her side was a Katana, of unknown origin. Those with enough knowledge would know that such Katana was quite old and was embroiddened with Mystery, enough to cut through Bounded Fields. She'd place her cup onto the center table and gently watched Chaldea.
"Pardon us for our intrusion."
B would say but the woman simply looked at the Chaldean with her cold and yet discerning eyes.
"It's fine. I just hope you don't cause too much noise."
She'd say, before resuming to her tea.
She would not reply to Naomi, despite noticing their similarities in origin. Silently, she'd ignore their greeting and relaxed in her seat with their eyes closed, waiting for a moment to drink her tea.
B, on the other hand would head near to Nagato and seat down by a nearby chair as she sighed heavily, as if in distraught.
And then, there was silence.
The woman simply ignored her questions as she gently sipped on her tea, slowly bringing it down. With a soft sigh, she'd finish it and simply ignored Naomi's introduction as if she couldn't be bothered to respond. With her eyes closed, she seemed to be resting.
After a short while, the woman would stand up and take her sword. She was about to leave. It seems she has finished her rest. Before she'd leave the door though, she'd stop and ask.
"Have any of you met a Magus with flames that even harmed the forest itself, nearby?"
She'd ask curiously.
"It's a she. She was southwest, from the last I remember. Her fire was combustion. Does it strike anything?"
She'd ask furthermore.
"It's a she. She was southwest, from the last I remember. Her fire was combustion. Does it strike anything?" She'd ask furthermore.
"I do not think we will ever meet again."
She says as she leaves by the door, exiting.
"Ah. I see. Hmn. I'd assume she's dead then."
She'll say with a sigh, as she'd leave properly this time. Leaving B and the Chaldea alone in the lounge.
The chaldeans has rested for a shortwhile, achieving some sort of peaceful state, if ever so slightly. For an hour, they remained silent, and kept their energy contained, in order to save them for their journey to the otherside of the mountains. Just as they finished resting, B, would then stand up in shock as she grit her teeth and crumpled her hands.
(edited)"N-nothing.There is... something happening back in Ghent. We should hurry."
She'd say as she'd nudge everyone to stand up, and follow her.
"Let's head over to the Izerbach household."
They'd soon reach the entrance, with B leading the way, they were about to leave. But even before she could open the door, a voice called out.
"Leaving?"
It was the old man, standing ontop of the staircase, watching over Chaldea and B, whom he'd call Model III.
"To the Izerbach was it?"
"The Izerbachs are dead. To take their Magic Crest, cut off the right arm."
He'd casually say, as he'd turn around once more and let Chaldea leave. That was all he said, and all he notified the group.
"Are you all ready?"
B would ask Chaldea once more to assure their state of being.
B lead you into the opposite side of the mountain, and as you had reached outside of the Einzbern castle, the entire region seemed to have been covered by snow before you knew it. But neverminding the unusual new climate, you all would then reach the caslte if the Izerbach. Filled with the trees forests corruption, fallen down in all its glory. Inside, many ghouls could be heard, from Homonculis whose souls had been corrupted, and to the humans who were unlucky enough to be revived.
Charging in, inside, you've all killed them all with ease, with the help of B, finishing those you could not. Those under the conceptual curse of restoration. Further inside, stronger opponents would show up, but they were no match to Chaldea. And finally, to the boss room, there stood an old man, with red eyes burning in anger. In his right arm, there, was the Magic Crest. This man was the Old Man of the Izerbach family. And he has turned into a Dead Apostle.
"You dare! Go against the Forest! YOU WILL PERISH!"
He'd scream.
As he'd say that, his bounded field acted up as well!
The Old Man Izerbach began the battle with the initiative in his side. He struck with destructive slashing energy to damage the non-Servants significantly as he pulled back with a serious look on his face. Compared to the other Dead Apostle, despite pulling away, he seemed awfully confident in his sturdiness. Well, it also comes to that the entire Castle is his Bounded Field, which caused him to increase in his speed, and slow down Nagato in exchange. He was gaining strength.
"IS THIS THE POWER OF THE SERVANTS THAT CAME TO DEFY THE FOREST! WEAK! UTTERLY WEAK! JOIN ME AND I WILL GRANT YOU MORE POWER!"
"Whose being cocky now, child!"
He'd say as he slid down to Naomi to drop her to the ground. Despite that, the Demon Hunters skills reflexes managed to help her from the attacks, dodging them despite on the ground. Even the destructive flames that the old man absorbed after blasting it on both Naomi and himself, the Japanese woman managed to dodge.
"Slippery! BUT NOT ENOUGH!"
And as Naomi and Ba'al began to double team him, he'd green and began to increase his muscular structure as a small tree sprout showed up from his back, imitating a wing.
"WEAK! I WILL SHOW YOU POWER! THE HUNGER OF THE FOREST!
The entire castle began to shake for some reason, the bounded field began to waver, releasing Nagato from his weakness. The old man looked around curiously, confused. "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?"
He'd ask Chaldea.
As the old man Izerbach died, B falls down onto the ground. She was uninjured and actually unhurt the entire battle but she was gritting her teeth in pain as she held her heart. Then after a short moment, she breathed heavily, as if confused.
"They lost..."
She'd say as she stands up.
"Let's go. I must return to Ghent at once. Hasna Cervantes is still fighting, but his fighting force has perished. We've recovered the Izerbach Magic Crest successfully."
"He is known for he's tenacity. I must at least try."
She'd say.
(edited)"You may go back to the Einzbern castle to rest. From this point on, my duty as a guide is over. I must now return to his side."
The Church Member had began rushing away without waiting for Chaldea's answer. She had no time to waste.
The group would head back to the forest, leaving the abandoned castle with nothing but its lonely nature as everything within it is dead. It seemed the Bounded Field slowly crashed down without its Master, although unusual as these bounded fields didn't need to be powered by anything.
Ba'al notices a figure from a far, didn't seem hostile, carrying a snow-white beauty in their frame. Although due to the darkness, she could not properly see whether that white was their skin, or their clothing. (Passive Perc 20)
Chaldea Group began to move towards Calais once more, without any rest, and without the Church Member in case they meet with an unnecessary Dead Apostle to finish them off. The best they can rely on is Musashi's Noble Phantasm and a Command Seal. Towards the Forest they go.
Traversing into an expected return, as expected, the Forest wouldn't be its Vampiric Existence if it didn't give those alive the hardship it was going for. But furthermore, unexpected encounters was something truly only those with the Devil's Luck could find. And Chaldea, has that said luck.
A flashing burn combustion could be heard towards the direction they were taking, as if it was destined to be. There, a presence of Berserkers and the could be felt, and a single uncorrupted soul. Easily maneuvered away, one could choose to ignore it once more.
What will Chaldea choose?
As you guys enter the fray, in order to assist whoever the uncorrupted soul nearby, there stood being held by her hair, was B, utterly burned and has lost her leg due to some sort of an explosion and her arm due to the same reasons, being carried by a woman with her other hand burning in magical energy, unaffected by the dominion. Her eyes blood red, and she was surrounded by Berserkers and Ghouls, who seemed to be her allies. Her black hair flowed with the wind created by the flmes
She'd smile as her blood red eyes twinkled.
"Ara~, are these your friends~? Ahahahaha, fun! More to burn. More to kill. More to offer to the Forest for the sake of my own wishes. Fufufu. Oh? These are Chaldeans! Even more fun!"
She'd recognize them, as if responding to one of the Berserkers of Enniash.
"Now, now. Don't make that face. Hmnnn? Haven't I smelled you before? OHHH two of you smells familiar. I remember now. Weren't you quite near where I was transformed? I should get some revenge for leaving a cute girl like me alone. Course, I don't think you'd know it was a cute girl."
She'd chuckle as she'd raise B up.
"Is she your friend?"
She tilted her head and asked.
"Ehhh~, I'm hungry. I just woke up like... yesterday? Or was it a few hours ago. So I can't. If I can, I also want to eat you guys too. So stay still while the Berserkers kill you, okay?"
She'd say with an innocent chuckle.
"It doesn't matter now."
She'd say as she licks her lips as the combusting energy from her Mystic Code began to burst through. Her psychic ability began to strike even more powerful than ever.
(edited)"AHAHAHHA, How admirable! Truly admirable! But all that skill and anger and honor will be nothing, once I've killed her off."
The woman laughed as she'd raise B in front of Nagato and Musashi as Naomi and Ba'al took off. Her burning hand would then head towards the Church Members chest, about to pierce it with its burning aura. In the current distance, Nagato and Musashi are left powerless to do so, without the power of the Command Seals. And as her hand was began to strike, she'd suddenly dodge and let go, dropping the woman into the ground. But, instead of having the dirtied soil, she was caught by a swordsman, with hair as long as her waist, and an ethereal face.
"YOU! SHIKI!"
The Dead Apostle shrieked. The Demon Hunter from before, then jumped next to Nagato and Musashi and gently dropped B beside them.
"We will not be able to escape here, if we do not fight and end her life."
She'd say.
"I need you both to focus on her. Her name is Azaka Kokuto, and her abilities allow her to kill even the highest level of Oni's after transforming into a Dead Apostle. I'll deal with two of the Ghost Liners."
She spoke in Japanese to the both. There was no hint of pause in the train of events. But nevertheless, Shiki needed an answer.
"Master of Chaldea. Take this."
She'd offer his hand towards Nagato, revealing red insigna's. Command Seals.
"I am able to give you a single Command Seal for the sake of two. Use it to strike her down with your Servant."
"Don't call me anything."
She'd say as she closed her eyes as she swung her blade getting ready to battle.
"Due to the lacking ritual, that Command Seal will disappear if not used within this fight. Do you understand?"
Shiki would then drop a talisman on top of the injured B, as if protecting her. Nagato would find this smell very very bad.
And thus the swordswoman started the battle, her eyes glowed in rainbow-like glean, beautiful and as beautiful as it looked, she moved towards the Servant and began cutting it like butter without mercy, almost killing it in a few successive strikes.
"DAMN YOU. YOU'RE ALWAYS GETTING IN THE WAY. ALWAYS. ALWAYS. DIE. BERSERKERS, GET HER!"
All the Berserkers attention focused on Shiki, whose eyes only stared back at the screaming Dead Apostle.
"I'll kill them all too.... I'LL KILL EVERYONE."
The battle raged and the woman, Azaka Kokuto, the Dead Apostle smiled as she took aim towards the Oni Master. His body was used to flames, and his blood remained strengthened by its resistance to flames. But it did not matter, as the vampire struck, his body, the flames from within his body began to burst, breaking through his barrier, scorching him from within in, combusting him.
"Mezzo Forte! Forte! Pianissimo!"
She'd sing her firepower towards them, with destructive gaze.
As the Berserkers began to surround the group, Shiki began to obliterate the existence of her enemy, killing it as it quickly turned into particles of prana and absorbed by the forest. It was almost as if she was capable of doing it with ease. Shiki took a deep breath and moved her sight to the next Berserker.
Nagato continues to feel her destructive power, overpowering his oni resistance to fire, burning his mind through a psychological process where his entire body continues to combust every time he strikes. She seems healing from his strikes. She was still strong, despite taking his stronger hits. She smiles as she moves away.
But as she was smiling in victory, Shiki obliterated all their other enemies. Now, it was the Chaldeans, Azaka, and Shiki. This caused the Dead Apostle to grin in anger.
"D-DAMN YOU RYOUGI SHIKI!"
Blood began tearing up from her eyes, an indication of her hunger as she looked at the Chaldeans, as well as the servant with thirst.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH."
She no longer answered humanely, and began to devolve into her more vampiric state, as her eyes turned blood red, hungry for blood.
With all their thirst, Nagato managed to strike them out as they struck him with her combusting flames. And with final strike, with Musashi's damages revealing the way to her heart, and Nagato's rage, she'd finally go down, her shoulder cut down to her chest...
In the entirety of all of it, as the combat finally died down, Shiki took a deep breath as she'd lay down next to the Dead Apostle.
"Damn it all..."
The Dead Apostle spoke, in regret and frustrations.
"Even with all of my newly found power.... Even with all my strength.... I still can't beat you... Why... did I have... to di-..."
As she was unable to finish her words, the swordswoman who listened to it all raised her sword and struck them at a singular point, and finally they turned to dust. She raised to her feet with a sigh before administering some treatment to B. Afterwards, she'd tell Chaldea.
"I'm heading home. You are all heading to Calais, yes?"
@Vormal/Asstolfo/Morban/Sword/Cat @Thicc|Fie/Ali/Ayu/Miyu/Nag/Mel"Neither were you."
She'd say as she sighed as she gently sealed her blade.
"But it's thanks to you I was able to put my sister-in-law to rest."
Then she'd take a look at a farther away area.
"I've contacted my Archer. It seems she can see your allies still running a bit a head. If we go now, it won't take long for us to catch up. Can you take your friend?"
"Your group is just ahead. It seems I have another problem nearby. My archer has found something. Be careful on your way ahead."
Ryougi then stated this to Nagato's group as she began walking to another direction.
"Just head straight. You will find your allies ahead."
Hence Ryougi left. At this point, you can now go on to rejoin your allies.
Suddenly, as they were just about to move forward, all the Servants felt the presence of Servants, surrounding them in a perimeter, but not too near, and yet not too far. It was a mere suddenness, the feeling where, the exact moment when they entered the range of their senses. And then they'd hear a laugh. A mad kings laugh.
"Hehehehe. You guys seem to be enjoying yourselves."
A voice called out, echoing. The sole servant approaching them. Although most of the servants, felt like a shadow of their past selves, this one has a definite presence. And soon enough, with the light of the Crimson Moon, he revealed himself.
"Right~, Chaldea?"
(edited)Soon, with almost no problems, from either ghouls or the Berserkers, you'd reach the half-corrupted Bounded Field. There you'd hear here the sounds of battles continuing. There was no safe place in the area.
Moving forward to the targetted location, you'd see Hansa Cervantes surrounded by enemies, all around him. His body half-cybernatics... well most of it are, were all broken up, and his eye patch no longer hid his cybernetic eye. He was all roughed up as if he was fighting all day. Which he was. None of them had noticed you yet. Not reacted yet anyways. But upon entering the area, all servantswould feel the presence of the a restraining Bounding on all of them, despite Nagato being just half, he'd also feel the presence of this.
The battle raged on, and as while the Dead Apostle was distracted by the servants, and its other enemies, Cu Alter appeared from behind it, covered by an armor of destructive and vampiric energy, he'd crush their organs with ease. They attempted to escape but Nagato blocked their exit, giving Cu a chance to pierce them completely... As the armor ate the entire Dead Apostle completely.
Upon entering the city, they'd feel a small shake on the earth within, coming from the castle indicated as the source of the sounds as well as where the Heroic Spirit was last seen.
The forest in this area was easier to deal with to the North, so there had been no problems, especially with Lucius leading the way, with his Florent and his destructive attacks.
But as they went further ahead, they'd suddenly hear the loudest screams, enough to fill the city. Screams of agony from those that seemed to be tortured and alive. It began echoing all over the place, as if coming from a speaker.
The palace was in sight at this point, with some "Dead" guarding the entrance, and acted as if they were dancing.
The monsters began to gather around the "dancing" old man, also showing off their moves, they danced pretty great despite the horrible music...
As they bite them.
The grooving body guards and fans all died at the hands of Chaldea. As soon as the last enemy fell, a voice from the speakers somewhere that released the "screaming" people music.
"Areh~? New fans came! It seems the forest actually brought my mics capacity up! Come on in, piggies, don't be shy! Ehehehehehehehe!"
Entering the palace, the palace had the forest branches seeping deep within it. It was a classical piece that had been corrupted by the Vampirics Forests intrution to its beauty. Inside, the darkness heightened without the Red Moons Light, but the candle-light gave the castle a dim light.
Deep into the the palace, as you guys continued forward, lies a Servant with the Class Berserker. There was few the Dead using "living" humans as instruments, drums, guitars, piano and more. They were alive but their wretched form couldn't be said as human anymore. The same could be said the the "living humans" at the both sides of the palace, gathered in a massive blob of flesh acting as a massive speaker, tortured by some "staff" which Nicolette was looking for. A couple of The Dead also acted as if they were fans, or as if they were managing the backlines.
She spoke.
"Welcome, ugly trash of humanity, to my beautiful concert!"
Her pink hair was dashing by the lights of the candle, and her eyes was red as the moon that is hidden by the palace. From her left-side, draconic scales could be seen forming, and the same scene could be seen to her tail. She licked her lips.
"Congratulations as you will experience, Bersekers Elizabeth's greatest masterpiece firsthand, greatest music! With my fans as excited as I am!"
Upon saying this, she winks at the massive blobs of flesh, which resulted into them screaming in abhorent pain and suffering which the girl blushed heavenly excitingly.
Master should I deploy my Noble Phantasm?
Hold off for now. She might know something useful about Vlad III.
When she talked about them again, they began to scream and cry in agony.
"Mercy!"
"Save us!"
"Kill me..."
"Please!"
"Fine! This form is ugly and I didn't want to use, but for this special occasion, I will murder each and everyone of you! HAHAHAHAH SOON, THE SCREAMS OF THE TORTURED WILL SCREAM THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FOREST, AND I WILL GRANT UNCLE PEACE OF MIND!"
She screams as she towers above the silenced area. Not even hearing Lucius's words.
A dragon, impure, but pure. Created through her sheer evil.
Seems my plan worked but I didn't account for her turning into a dragon. Any suggestions on what to do now? Perhaps we destroy the instruments?
Indeed, I was thinking on that. Should I proceed with it?
"I trust your judgement on this."
I believe that as she currently stands, we do not have the time to kill her before she executes her plan, if the Roman Emperor and Master Akiha are struggling. And I fear for your safety as well.
As you guys casually defend yourselves from the large destructive monster in front of you, and her destructive sounds of disarray, with no more "music" and simply noise could be heared.
Yagyuu maintained to his mission, in their assumption of striking down the tortured individuals, was the best way to weaken Elizabeth... And they screamed. In pain. And in fear. And in death.
Then, the dragon heaved as if moaning.
"Yes! Although pests you are, you truly understand! Yes!"
She felt ecstatic even more so upon their deaths. The dragon licks its teeth hungrily.
"More! Yes! More!"
She screamed....
Upon the death of both music, they all gathered into their torturer, resulting for the large draconic to reach orga-, to moan into the heighest heavens, satisfyingly.
"Inhumane Murderers. All of you are the same as me. Ehehehehehe."
After entering the Challenge Quest portal, the screen distorts like some kind of TV show..
"Don't mind her. She doesn't like the people from the Church either."
said Ciel telepathically to Bazett as she saw the galance. It's a dangerous attitude to have. Especially if we happen to come across myself or any other high ranking executor.
"Don't underestimate her, she can take care of herself."
I wouldn't think to do that. She has a look about her... One I cannot quite place. Regardless, let us focus on the mission.
Master the Servant is the King of knights
Lucius smugly Grinned "Long time no see, Arturus!" (edited)"I am ready when you are Master. I have little doubt about the power of the Saber before us as such I highly advise that we eliminate the threat quickly."
"Let see if we can neutralize the threat without having to engage in combat. If we can do this peacefully, then we can perhaps grab the grail quickly and end this singularity."
said Ciel telepathically to her servant."A peaceful resolution is unlikely."
"Perhaps but its worth a shot."
Grand Saber huh...? That's a wonderful sword she holds... A true marvel of craftsmanship. Be careful you two, as for you 'Master', stay close to the child will you? I believe this might prove to be difficult.
What a stubborn one.
Let us go Manannan. We cannot be left behind like this.
Yes, let's. It would be quite pitiful if we were to be left behind wouldn't it?
This is seriously starting to get sketchy.
The Grand Saber kept the blade at Asteria's throat, her eyes slightly narrowing as she heard the words that came before her. "One of inhumanity in human form yet human in the very end, one of both the height of arrogance yet the height of personal drive and determination, one who lives for others above all without exception to command, and one who lives and in the end can never truly die."
She looked down at Asteria, "And one who would kneel for the End of it all."
"All who hold True Potential in my eyes."
"So then tell me Chaldea, do you truly believe yourselves worthy? Do you believe that you are able to not only sacrifice your dreams but the dreams of others? Their hopes and vices burnt so that humanity may once more have another chance? The lesser for the greater?"
"Despite all you have come this far. One becomes worthy through force of will. A force of will to bring a better world no matter the obstacles... a force of will that I have experienced thirteen times." she said as she drew back her sword allowing it to rest at her side. "Maybe the willingness of your Masters if they are as selfless and determined as the one who was willing to throw away her life so readily for the cause is enough. Maybe force of will and the determination that has required you to have traveled this far to the ends of the world is enough to reach the end."
"I have heard the saying from the Lady of the Clocktower that goes along the lines of 'Might makes Right.' But from what I have learned through an ill-lived life and in this moment is that it is not true. One is not right because they are mighty, instead they derive their might from their righteousness."
"And from what I see, it does not matter as you said that you are worthy. Your Might in feat of arms means nothing to me. But your strength of will and knowledge that you are on the right path in order to have made it this far, is enough."
"Maybe I will allow you all to stand with me."
(edited)Looks like Diplomancy may have worked after all.
said Ciel telepathically to Bazett. She wasn't rubbing it in, in fact her tone was a bit surprised.
"As my servant said, we have no issue working together with you. Let us join forces and end this singularity and restore humanity." said Ciel as she returned her black keys into bible pages, as a sign of good faith. This seems too easy to me. Then again, I suppose Saber had taken quite a beating by the Grand already. Be careful, in case this is a trap we must be ready.
"Of course. But that isn't within their character. Still its possible they might be under the control of a command seal."
said Ciel telepathically in response to her servant.Ciel could tell through her years as a Burial Training that something didn't feel right with the Grand Saber. Her eyes shifted away from Chaldea's for a fraction of a second even as she spoke and her grip around her blade's hilt was strangely tight.
As she said 'Maybe I will allow you all to stand with me.' the very edge of her lip pulled, as if it wanted to escape the words coming out of her mouth.
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/Azu"Alter Ego, Ruler, on guard, something seems off about her."
said Ciel quickly to her two servants. She would make sure to stay on guard.Understood. I'll prepare Fragarech just incase.
With that the woman turned to glance at Grand Saber without another reaction. @[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/Azu "Nothing." she said, "The Queen of the Clocktower is occupied with her move for the grail. I said that you may walk by my side."
"We do not have time to waste before the opportunity passes us."
Ciel, Lucius, and Asteria would notice that as she spoke those words her grip on her sword had become so tight that even her hand had started to tremble slightly.
@Game Ping 7"There is no time for such questions, girl." Grand Saber said and even despite her best efforts her hand had begun to visibility twitch with her sword and a blood vein had protruded on her forehead.
@Game Ping 7She's struggling. I'm certain she is under someone's influence.
As Lucius passed he would catch a glimpse of her knees starting to shake.
Whatever was straining her was such an extent that the blood vessels in her right eye had bursted, flooding it with crimson.
As the rest of the group raced past Grand Saber she couldn't hold it back anymore. There was a look of contempt on her face, not at the group but at herself and whoever
"Sheathed in the breath of the planet, a torrent of shining life." the words came out of a mouth that was now dripping with blood at the very edge.
"Feel its wrath." With those words she raised her sword above her arms.
"E-e-e-" she stuttered, attempting to resist it one last time. Crimson wet trails were now dripping from her nose, eyes, and ears.
Bazzett would at once notice something strange about this.
Bazzette would notice that the direction of the Grand Saber's blade was pointed in the direction of where they were going, not just in their path.
Lucius would have known at once from that fateful battle he had shared with Arthur, that there was no hate to Chaldea in this attack. The cold fire of wrath in their eyes was not aimed at him or his comrades.
Asteria would realize the immense amount of power that was being held back even beyond what should have been capable. If this was an attack against them, it would have happened a long time ago.
Kama would see there was a fiery passion in her action inspired by passions of heat in her past, one that she would still do even if the fires would consume herself.
Jeanne would in that moment see like her, she was committing this action as the ultimate duty that a Grand Servant was to fufill.
(edited)In the last moments Jeanne as a Ruler Class Servant could decipher what the order the the Command Seal had given.
"Unleash Excalibur."
An order given in haste, as if the user was greatly pre-occupied with a dangerous task
@Crafter/Flower/Illya/Dad/OniAnd unleash Excalibur she did as in a single slam a bright golden light seemed to consume everything. The first thing that hit the Chaldeans was the backblast of the heat... and then the blast itself...
And just like what her orders had done. She had unleashed Excalibur, not at Chaldea, but at where they had been heading... at her own Master.
A hasty command that would have paid the Queen of the Clocktower dearly.
If not for the interference of Fragarach.
The Grand Saber gasped at the hole breached through her chest, her own power turned against her added with Manannán.
"No," she sputtered out as blood overflowed her lips her eyes wide with shock, "It wasn't supposed..."
@Game Ping 7"Not yet," The Grand Saber rose to her feet, using her blade that had attempted to unleash the Noble Phantasm as a crutch. "My Master... had one more."
Maybe if she had been allowed to fully strike she would have brought down her own Master and stopped all of this. But the Noble Phantasm Fragarach had prevented it.
"And I am sorry," her wounds had began to heal from the Land of the Fae and she raised her blade at the group, "I cannot fully resist it this time."
Master, please forward message to Ruler. If this is last Command Seal of the Lorelei we might able to have Grand Saber assist us going forward. How many Command Seals does Ruler have left?
"Once more..." she grunted as she lifted the blade before breaking into a series of violent coughs that spat out thick black wads of blood all over Bazett. An immense amount of power gathered around her, a tired power, but nothing to balk at. "EXCALI-"
Tsk...! Rulers Noble Phantasm isn't protecting everyone...! Now master!
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/AzuA immense amount of blood and gore exploded out a massive cavity from her back.
There was now a fist size hole in her chest just barely under her blood.
"Avalon..." she gasped as she staggered back several steps.
Yet she still stood.
@Game Ping 7"Lucius Tiberius, once more face to face," she grunted as she slashed an all too-familiar blade at the Sword Emperor.
"Even I can sense our animosity from times beyond." she gathered her blade in a upward thrust at his neck...
As Bazzett made to strike what was the certain blow, time seemed to stop.
Blood hung in the air, floating up and down like an old video on playback. Screams held never to be spoken. And before all a lingering hope for the end of all of this.
Then from Saber's chest appeared a golden sparkle that quickly grew to a explosion of light that seemed to blind all.
A power not even the Five Magics could hope to overcome.
This was the power of Avalon.
(edited)"I have my orders." she said coldly as she stood up again, "I cannot refuse a Command Seal so long as it lasts. As long as it lasts..." she gasped, "It wanes from all of this... but I will fufill it with your deaths before it runs out."
@Game Ping 7"Fight until I am no longer capable of holding this blade."
(edited)Alter Ego, I'll try and knock her out, its probably best not to kill her
I suggest aiming for the head. Avalon will protect one from all damage other than that.
My idea was to disarm her truthfully.
"Let us see," she drew her blade up.
Despite the amazing speed Artoria moved to a perfect block with Excalibur, for a moment their blades were locked, her cold and determined eyes staring into his as sparks flew off their blades. A moment that seemed to last an eternity.
Until she was forced to take a step back from the pressure.
And then another.
And then her arms began to shake.
She couldn't hold this block and in a sudden burst of mana augmented her strength greatly to punch upwards with her blade surely breaking his lock. But in this move she had gravely left not only her body open...
but also her hands with were holding her blade.
Ha so they did have the same limit to
Lucius smirked as Florent crackled with his crimson lightning, he learned a lot from his original battle with Arthur, and then again against the one once summoned to Chaldea. In those two fights he had worked out just how strong Britain's Red Dragon and his limit. *
*In one quick motion using one last mana burst Lucius forced Florent towards the opening created after his last strike smashing the side of his Demonic Sword into Saber's gut, he had done his best to limit how much force was behind this attack by purposely striking with the flat side of the blade being sure this wouldn't be a fatal strike...however it would most likely hurt a lotBut once more despite the opening Lucius had been given it wasn't even close to a closing blow to the battle as she staggered back several steps from the smash, but quickly recovered as Avalon continued to heal the terrible wounds the Emperor inflicted on her.
"As I said, so long as my hands are capable of holding this blade, I will not relent."
@Game Ping 7Her arm disappeared in a puff of blood and Excalibur flew through the air. Seeming to ignore missing an entire limb she kicked Lucius in the gut with her Sabaton as she reached with her remaining arm to grab the blade but suddenly her left arm was crushed.
It was twisted in the entirely wrong direction.
Excalibur fell to the floor and both her limbs dropped to her side as she collapsed to her knees, a puddle of blood spreading across.
"My Command and Contract is done." she said in an exhausted voice.
Suddenly blue motes of lights surrounded her as she took in her first unlaboured breath.
"What will you do now?" she said with her head bowed, not in weakness or surrender, but respect.
"I... I will not be long for this world... with no longer a Master," her eyes eyelids were heavy and waning, the blue motes becoming larger, "But my duty is not done yet."
She attempted to struggle to her feet but found the energy within herself fading as well.
Her broken hand limply reached out for Excalibur which lay on the ground, "Assist me. Please."
She gripped her blade weakly but still with determination, "To my feet, please."
"Correct. And I am afraid not even your healing spells may sustain me."
"I am afraid I can no longer accompany you on this mission. My Master is about to reach the Grail and we have maybe a minute. There will be not enough time to reach her before she gains it." she closed her eyes for a moment, "But I have enough time to bear you this aid in your future endeavours. You will need it for this Singularity is not yet over."
Suddenly a golden scabbard appeared out of her chest, using her free hand she drew it out and allowed it to float before Lucius
"To you, the Sword Emperor who defeated me I shall grant Avalon and its protection. To be used in the most desperate of situations when death is inevitable and all else is lost. Use it with great wisdom and only as a last resort."
"And now... to end this." she turned around towards Lolorei, using her remaining arm to hold Excalibur aloft.
Before she did it, she turned around and softly spoke, "You will achieve what I could not, correct?"
For a moment there was that woman within her that they could all see, a broken one who had suffered again and again to see failure at every turn.
Yet she kept going on, desperate to make up for her faults.
"I have my full trust in all of you."
"Then, now is the end of my journey."
She glowed with golden energy even as she struggled to keep her blade aloft. This was the ultimate protection of the earth, the culmination of the hopes and dreams of so many who yearned for a better world.
None embodied that more then Saber.
« All right. Let's finish this.”
“Sheathed in the breath of the planet, a torrent of shining life.
Feel its wrath."
"Excalibur"!! »
(edited)And with that a golden torrent of light consumed everything in her path.
And left was a massive area of the forest that had been rid of its corruption, leaving behind smouldered but pure land. Grass would soon come back, flowers bloom, and maybe one day humans may return to live good lives here.
Saber was nowhere to be seen.
Then again neither was Lolorei and her entourage
The party is sent into the simulation, a large arena style area with unavailable walls. Currently the top was open, and there was no obstacles, it was purely grassy plane goodness. And then you hear a familiar succubus over the intercoms.
“Nice to see everyone! Today we’re going to have a lot of fun. Make sure you go all out dearies!!”
@Game Ping 7"Just your every day succubus and teacher~ Now let us begin!"
As she said that three bipedal wolf like creatures generate in, each wearing armor and holding a mace with skulls as the part ya get beat with!!!
They're also cackling like hyena's btw...
Angry hyena demon noises
All was very quiet for a bit... All the enemies laid there dead....
And then... A shit load more... Good luck?
Angry hyena demon noises ensue!!!
Poor hyena demons, the servants are making short work of them all.
It was silent for a moment… The blood of the demonic hyenas soaking into the ground. Then a metallic clanking and a thump… Thump thump thump… Giant metal monstrosities riddled with weapons and gore entered the battlefield and none were particularly happy to see the party… The succubus really wasn’t giving the party a break…
These were angry robots and it didn't help Hippo just nuked the shit outta them...
Succubus smites Naomi for doing nothing these last few fights!! She now does half damage!!!
"Get to work!! This is training not ogling time!! Or else I'll tell all your servants!"
Awwww shit, another wave done... Now for more!!! The succubus is giving you no rest time~! <3
But... Before that a map change!!! The grass fades away and the ground becomes softer, there's a certain smell to it too... Fuck its all a swamp now!!!
Btw all the brown is difficult terrain!!
Luckily there aren't poison gas pockets... Right?
Dark entities as well as horribly disturbing undead spawn from the ground, approaching the party from all sides...
These are not friendly undead creatures... They are coming to steal your souls...
"Have fun with the terrain change my darlings!!"
Btw.... It's getting dark now...
The succubus is not sorry...
The dark creatures emininate an evil smoke which burns the skin of those nearby... Miyu is already feeling its affects...
And the last of the undead was felled... But another foe spawns in... Three massive black dragons!!! And they look angry and hungry!!
Well correction, it's 2 super big dragons, and 3 smaller ones!!
The paralyzed young dragon screeches as its paralyzed by divine power, unable to move at all!!
As the dragons start to die one by one, there's some light music playing...
"Fufufufufufu~"
A soft laugh which notably came from the succubus emanated around the party.
“Well done in making it so far… One more test for the first part of the training~!”
The boss music from earlier starts growing louder and louder as the scenery shifts once more… The ground becomes difficult to walk across and the skies turn pitch black… A starless night… A loud and deep growl could be heard ringing out…
An ear wrenching roar sounds out, striking fear into everyone, then a fraction of a second later the poison hits!!!
Merlin:"Oh by the way darlings, Arthur-chan did this on his first try~!"
And the beast falls, collapsing to the ground presumably dead... Then it sank into the ground? But no one was sent out of the simulation?
Everyone could feel a small shift in the landscape... As if something was being weird was about to happen... A moment passed before the ground shook...
@Game Ping 7 dex saves!!From the earth an absolutely massive black dragon spirit splits out letting out an ear wrenching roar!! The roar emitting horrible effects which engulfed the battlefield!!! A powerful acidic effect spraying everywhere... The roar piercing your very heart and soul... Then mere moments later, the soul condensed into a dragon even larger and angrier than before...
Succubus: “Have fun darlings~”
*The very same person who helped Da Vinci with the bunny.*
Succubus: “I hope the rabbit Da Vinci and I created last time was fun~”
Very quickly due to arcane spears, Miyu and Hippolytus are both killed, being ejected and sent off for recovery as they are penetrated by the magic...
The knife flew true, flying and flying before finishing off the beast!! As it dies it falls, and falls, and falls crashing to the ground and spraying all the acid, earth, water, everything everywhere. Nearly killing Naomi and ejecting her from the simulation, whilst Emiya is knocked out once more...
Yagyuu is alive by the skin of his teeth... And a clap could be heard as the succubus comes over the intercoms again, "Well done everyone!!! Now feel free and go get some healing!!"
Everyone gets ejected from the sim and sent out for healing!!
The lair of the Gazing Star, a place where it was notably dim and there were a multitude of stoney pillars raising up to the sky. In the middle sat one of the demon pillars… Malephar.
“How curious they are able to fight us… Yet they shall not win for we are eternal… We are the stars that watch… Who see into the past… The present… And into the future… They may come… But they will fall…”
”Ahhh the blind and foolish who cannot see the wish of our king…”
”We the Watchers will need to show you the errors of your ways then…”
In response to that, the creature blasts Kama with a horrible energy before unsuccessfully attempting to restrain Lancelot with an unseen power.
EYE BEAMS AWAY!!!!!
Oh no monsters and more eye rays but hey, Kintoki smooshed a monster?
"Ah-ah-ah-ahhh!! This is out of our calculations...."
For a moment the creature goes still, its eyes closing before an energy rapidly courses through it and it beats... An electrical energy...
"We can no longer underestimate these creatures..."
As its eyes open up once more it lets out beams from all its eyes directed at every which one of them, a black inky cloud expanding and expanding about the whole area making it dark...
The arena is now wholly dark so dark vision will be a godsent...
Specifically magical darkvision
As the creature becomes heavily injured by Lancelot's attacks it cries out angrily.
"Impossible!! Impossible impossible impossible!! How are these bugs doing this!!" The energy grows deeper and deeper...
@Game Ping 7 con saves againA thick energy radiates in the air, especially around the pillar...
. . .
Once again, Chaldea dares to oppose the inevitable.
How... Truly annoying.
Aamon, Agares, Allocer, Baal, Gamigin, Malephar, Marbas, Orobas, Vassago
Answer my summons and obey. The collective requires greater sacrifice, greater effort than the pathetic display you have shown.
The other pillars which govern the Gazing Star resonate in their own voices, agreeing with the words of Malephar...
The ritual is not yet complete. Resist and fight as long as you can. Use every ounce of power you possess...
Do not waste it this time...
"A-ahhhhh!!!! With the power of our King we stand the test of time... We shall prevail and wipe out these bugs!!"
"S.O.S! S.O.S! The Big Man showed up, Master, we're in a Pickle here!"
"... He WHAT?!"
"I swear I saw him flying into the goddamned voi- Ugh, nevermind. How bad is it?!"
"Well, we were kicking it's ass, but we're running out of Juice. The Fucker healed it back up!"
"Alright... Can't say I'm better on that regard, but I'm calling Chaldea and seeing what can we do. Hold on there!"
The energy is swirling faster and faster around the pillar as it solidifies
Angry pillar beams the shit out of everything, so many beams coming out from all its eyes and striking everyone!!!!
Angri pillar is just lazering everyone over and over and over!!! But it's bloodied!!!
@Game Ping 7As Kintoki slashes at it, it powers down for a moment, then the little summonables that it created turn into black goop, rejoining the pillar as it awakens for one last stand!!!
And the pillar falls, slowly fading away into dust...
"How... How is this possible... Even with the assistance of our king..."
Then with one last cry it disappears...
"Avenger, I have spotted the enemy, they don't seem to be our typical cultist style enemies. I count about twelve or so enemies. Three interesting induvial, two in the front and one from the back. I will stay behind and follow them to cut off any retreat unless you truly believe you all need me to heal everyone."
said Ciel telepathically."I'll defer to you in those matters, accomplice. However, our attack must be swift and decisive. I'll inform the others."
